Default 34 pickup striker plate

I ordered new striker plates and see they come with 2 screws per but the door jamb mounting points are missing a nut. Each door jamb has a cage nut in the outer most hole but the inner most slotted hole is just that , no nut. Where do I get one or alternative solution?

Also I noticed on the back side of the only original striker plate I could find appears to be a very thin piece of paper or some other material. Anti-squeak?

Look at Bob Drake's website part # 40-702336 I am not familiar with the 34 but I believe these should work.

Excellent. Yes looks like those might work. Thanks

I assume i would need to remove existing cage nut before installing mount plate?

Well I received my order from Bob Drake with the new door striker mount plate and started poking around in B pillar trying to figure out how or what I needed to cut out to get them in there.

Lo and behold both jams already have the mounts. Both had slide outwards making the inner most holes seem like there was no cage nut.

DUH..I’m an idiot.

No doubt about it. It was going to be interesting to find a tool to cut out some of the back side of the b pillar.
