Default Soft Clutch Pedal

Well I finally got my rebuilt 8ba and T5 transmission in my shoebox and made the necessary bracket for the clutch pedal but I noticed that the pedal is very soft. Everything is basically original except for the clutch disc. Using the stock throw out bearing and fork and a new OE pressure plate, what could be wrong? I haven't started the engine yet because I haven't put trans fluid in yet.

Lift one rear wheel, have somebody turn it and depress clutch and put it in gear. This way you can check if all gears are possible. If this works, it should be usable with engine running. Donīt forget to add lube when passed this test.

That's a good idea Vincent. Thanks. Hoping I don't have to take the trans back out.
