Can anyone tell me the application of this part. Last of my early Ford parts. Will give away for shipping cost. Threads look very good.

Don't want to pour water on your very kind offer but it looks heavily worn to me. The shank should be a constant diameter all the way up. 11/16" diameter (from memory). That one looks to be badly worn.
