Ever have this happen to you? Tina and I heard about a Dandelion Days event a few towns over and decided to drive the 29 fordor. Turns out, the ride in the Model A was the best part of the whole day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37QDOB8xbKI What a couple of noobs, expecting to actually find dandelions and dandelion related things at "Dandelion Days"! The car was a huge hit though.

Paul , absolutely ! Even in our busy life and day to day an hour or two ride in the A or one of our other old cars is a great healer of a bad day.
You do a great job I video of your local travels ! Larry |

It may not “fix it” but it will definitely improve it! They definitely tricked you guys, we all know Dandelion is a noun describing a plant, not a group. Deception at its finest!!!

I just drove my 29 standard coupe to a meeting of the newly established Monadnock chapter of MAFCA in Keene, NH. It was a chilly 25° when I left but the Autolite heater kept me warm on the 25 mile journey from my home. I made the meeting on the dot of 9:00, the scheduled meeting time, came into the room and was announced as “Here’s the new member who just drove in from Hancock.” That sure put a smile on lots of faces including mine. Yes, driving the A can make your day.

My smile is going to the town dump (transfer station now) with the back of the pickup loaded with stuff.
The "Gate Nazi" sees me coming and gives me half price: "yours is not an 8' bed so I'll cut you a break." And, as the receipt is filled out... "You can put the truck over there (pointing adjacent to the scrap metal pile.)" Smiles... Joe K

Glad to help, my friends! It's way cheaper than a therapist.

We live in a small coastal town in Connecticut. All back roads except Route 95.
I can’t tell you the feeling I have after driving on the narrow winding roads. 30 to 35 mph is just right. Salt marshes and great views of the Sound. It doesn’t get any better. You have died and gone to heaven! Enjoy |
