Just wanted to give credit to Fred at Southside Obsolete. I've made several purchases and the parts and service could'nt be better.
Just received this "crab" distributor. I inquired about a rebuild-able one and Fred sent me a message suggesting this Ford rebuilt unit. Notice it has Ford logo points. The condenser is one I had and the timing fixture is from The Hot Rod Workshop on Utube. Thanks Fred |

Fred is good people. If he doesn't have it, chances are it's not available.

One word of caution . . . many of the old/vintage condensers are shot . . . due to the internal insulation drying out and cracking. I'm sure you've experienced a bad condenser before - causes all sorts of misfire issues.
So, you will want to know that it is a good condenser before running it. I usually recommend that folks buy high-quality condensers that are used on Vertex Magnetos. |

Where do you purchase the Vertex Mag ones? Vertex was the choice of magneto ignitions before MSD. |
