Default Excited to Join the Community!

Hey everyone,

I just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself! My name is Brandon. I致e always been into modding and restoring.

Right now, I own a 1933 Ford Coupe, and I知 looking to make some upgrades. One of the projects I知 considering is upgrading my ignition switch, so I知 hoping to learn from the experiences of others here.

Looking forward to connecting, learning, and contributing to the discussions. See you around the forums!

Basically the best thing to do is make all of the original equipent work properly.
But what do I know, I have owned a 1940 Ford Deluxe for over 35 years and it took me 25 years to figure it out. No matter what most people the stock stuff works well and wont leave you on the side of the road.

I too would use the original ignition switch since it also provides some theft protection by locking the steering.

Not sure about your year but I bought all new components for my 41. And yes it is a very simple and dependable unit. I've replaced many more of the modern units that have failed then the trusty flip and key. Tim

Is the switch not working? or do you just want to make the change? If it's working then why change it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
