Default 35 Convertible Sedan Carpet

I'm very close to being ready to install the rear floor carpet in my 35 and am
wondering what would have been used to attach the main carpet to the floor.
I have the original toe kick board piece and the small piece that went below the
bottom cushion but I don't have the piece that would have been on the floor.
The two pieces I have show signs of contact cement on their back sides but
would the main carpet have also been contact cemented down or should there be some type of a hidden carpet socket or exposed button head fastener used in pertinent locations? The 35/36 restoration guide shows the carpet in question
with a couple of button head fasteners. However, I don't know if that's a shot
of an original factory piece or not.
