I think those are saddle shoes popular in that time period.

Why does it look like the Phillips 66 gas pump globe has a 7 instead of a 6?

Those uniforms look like those used for school crossing guards. Looks like some damage to the rear bumper and the left tail lens is missing. Definitely a Mobil and Phillips pump at the same station.

I seem to remember that way back when, Phillips used numbers to label their different grade of gasoline for a period of time. "66" for regular, "76" for premium, and maybe a few others.

I think both pumps are Phillips, the pump on the left has "66" and the other globe says "76" perhaps. Look closely at the ad glass on the left pump. Looks like Phillips 66.

All you guys are pointing out oddities of all sorts in the photo. At my age, I'm scoping out the pretty girls, especially the one pumping gas. LOL

I respectively disagree. The window washer girl is the real flirt ...And, what's age got to do with it? Real men scope out the girls before they see anything else.

Hey Counselor, you make me smile. I love your humor. Proof that age is definitely just a number! We is what we is, huh? LOL
