Default 1936 ford pick up floor mat

Happy new year. Was wondering if anyone has knowledge if anyone makes 1936 pickup rubber floor mat with the jute backing. I’ve tried all the normal companies and can’t find one. Thanks

We couldn't find one either they are real hard to come by.

My wife took a piece of cardboard and made a template, and cut one out of some rubber floor padding that you stand on in a garage.

It came out real nice, no complaints!

Try contacting Third Gen Automotive.
They show a pickup floor mat without any holes, so you will have to do some cutting.
But, you are correct, floor mats for the 1935-1936 pickup are very rare. (or very brittle)

That's the only one currently available. You have to cut it to fit and it does not have the correct splatter pattern design. I think it's the same one Third Gen sells.

I'm in contact with an automotive floor mat company about making a correct 1935-1936 pickup and big truck floor mat. It's possible to make the two molds required and the pattern and dimensions are known from a series of Ford Engineering drawings. Once I get a price on the total cost of molds and what a production run would cost, I'll figure out a final price. Then I'll have to get commitments or pre-orders for most of them as I'm just a hobbyist and not in the business of making car parts.

I have my old one so it would be easy to template. I’ll try the the uncut one for now until they come out with something better. Thanks to all

For my '39 pick up, a whit shag bathroom rug became available...
It blocked some of the air leaks as well.

That would be great. I am interested. Keep us posted.

Right now its a very slow rolling project but I will get on it later this year. I'll post progress as it happens, if it happens.

Dennis Carpenter shows available in black or tan. Has anyone purchased one?

You should call the folks at Dennis Carpenter and ask them. Seems like they list lots of parts they no longer have in inventory nor have any sources to get more as the reproduction parts suppliers aren't making many new parts these days. Let us know what they say as there seem to be a lot of folks who want one of these mats.
