Came across a Ford 4 Banger with engine number B5306196.
What is the build date of this engine? Checked the fordgarage.com website and then it should be later then 1934?? |

Look for a small raised up diamond cast on the right side, front, near timing cover IIRC

The '33-'34 version of the Model B engine continued to be produced for service and industrial applications until 1941, so number 306196 is well within the realm of possibility given that number 292536 was produced in August, 1934.
