This is called hording. There is no way that one person could use all these parts in several lifetimes. There are only two or three cars on the property that I would consider, the complete ones in the garage.

If you watch the entire video - just about everything is organized - putting parts in old houses protects them. There are good cars with minimal rust. Jim |

Where I am those cars outside would be considered gold.I could make a lot of money on all those cars parked all around there.

That guy would NEVER be able to use all that stuff no matter how long he lived but if he lived longer, there would only be more of it. I saw stuff in there that I have only heard of. Drooling here.

Denver if I remember right. The area is high desert with loose soil. Moisture passes through to the atmosphere unless you park or store vehicles and parts on a slab or a non porous surface. Jim Transporting To Travel Traveling To Share Stories From The Road |

I'd be tickled to buy that 30-31 pickup cab where I am for $3500-$4000.I have run across a couple here for that price, but I have been too late. They sell off fast. That 55 Chevy post early in the film is a real piece of gold.I guessed at $15,000 here,my friend laughed and said I need to get my head out of the sand and look around me.

IMHO to be called a hoarder the person has to just be storing good parts with the intention of keeping them to themselves. If the same person is selling parts he has stored up, that person is not hoarding.
Stacy Brown was not a hoarder but was selling good parts to anyone that needed them. He had around four warehouses full of parts he had collected at swap meets and various auto supply close outs, but everything he had was for sale. Ed |

Fun video, I can tell he was not the first one to pick the place, no roadster parts, deck lids, very few
Radiator shells, gas tanks. No speed equipment for flatheads or model As. He took a good load home, I would have mostly bought the same stuff he did. I hope he goes back for more, it's alot of work. |

Now for a good laugh....look up Donley auctions on YouTube. Another Model A collection, it's coming up for auction in Feb. Poor family gave it to a auction company that doesn't have a clue about Model A Fords.

Just when I thought I had heard it all, they came out with something even more stupid and ignorant than before. The late owner would be spinning in his grave.
IMO, Philistines!
