I have all ten of How to Restore Your Model A books, and know them to contain great information. I also have Tom Seiffert's technical index, but as nearly as I can tell, there is no correlation between them. I fear I am missing a lot of excellent help from the How to books, because I can't find it short of thumbing through every table of contents each time I am have a question. I just stumbled on a great article in Vol 4 just before submitting a thread on this Forum. That article does not appear in Seiffert's index. Is there a comprehensive index to the entire How to series ?

Best to read the books cover to cover and just memorize them.

Are the articles in those books published chronologically like MARC's "Technically Speaking" or are they organized by topic? If printed by year, I use this index to find relevant articles and then find the Tech Speaking book that corresponds with the year the article was originally published.

As originally mentioned, I don't see that Seiffert's index
https://model-a-ford.org/wp-content/...ex01012023.pdf is at all correlated with the How to series. The index cited by Doug Linden is still just a list of tables of contents, but I can see that it can shorten a search |

Mitch from VFF just sent a link to Plucker's book. It fits the bill. The only short-coming is that you need to have one of the vendors' paper catalogs open to determine the part number before finding the magazine article in his index

If you look in the ARCHIVE section of the restorer there is listed BY ARTICLE the location in whichHOW TO BOOK the article is located. Not sure if the NEW EDITOR will continue to include the RESOURCES SECTION in future MAFCA RESTORER web sites!
