Default Flathead V8 Service Manual

Hello Folks,

I am a long time Model T and Model A owner and new to the Ford Flathead world. I recently acquired a 1950 Flathead engine from a truck. I am looking for the service "bible" for the engine. Preferably similar to the Les Andrews Model A mechanics handbook.

Does any such book exist for the Flathead V8 world?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks
Bob

Faxon's in Riverside, CA has a 49-52 shop manual as a reprint and origianl.
They have other flathead related publications as well.

They also have one for trucks.

The Early Ford V-8 Club has a book on all the flathead motors. It's not a manual, but it does show all the motors and how to identify them. if you are new to flatheads it would be a good book to own.
