Why wouldn't that be called a Jitney? Pretty sure a Depot Hack was intended to move luggage and passengers from the train depots up to the hotels. Not sure that has a place for luggage, does it. Maybe I am wrong??

Who did the writeup on this a few years ago? It was pretty good, with quite a few pictures showing the two rows of seats on the sides. That really is a jitney (bus). That would haul people from the train depot, and the depot hack would haul their luggage, and maybe a couple of people. If I remember right that one was intended to be a tour bus for showing people around a site.

Mary Tyler Moore "Hack" shown at this site at

https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=300700

Three pictures at the link from 7-2021. The car was "signed" by MTM. Apparently an Ebay listing at that time - now not found on Ebay.

Very unique. Might have been used by a "vacation hotel" or similar accommodation in the 1930s. The "Stanley Hotel" in Colorado comes to mind.
