Default 65 Years With The Merc

65 years ago today my dad bought the 52 Mercury so naturally I had to take it out for a drive to mark the occasion. Some video too.https://youtu.be/CZaf4vnUpIE

Boy Ralph, what a family tradition!!!!! Your Dad & Mom would be "tickled pink" as my Dad used to say. Makes me smile on the inside.

Ralph, This video pretty much Made my morning. So great to see an original car so long in the same family and still being driven and enjoyed in it's natural habitat. Bonus points for the frayed cuffs on your jacket and the matching rocker panels. Some cars just weren't destined for the concourse, they're fine the way they are. Keep on keepin' on.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I should have added this vintage photo of the Merc with my dad, my brother and myself back about 1960.

Mark, its a neighbour's property just a mile or so down the road from me. Yard has been uninhabited for decades. Its a local landmark.

Another great show Ralph. Thats a neat old farm site, the barn is still nice and straight.
But, like most, its days are numbered without a new roof. Most in my area are gone already. Happy anniversary !
