1927 Chevy. Head lights and bumper are from a later period. Top missing, fender's and lower body look a little rough. Picture looks like it may have been taken in the 1940's or 50's.

The thing was likely a 3-window coupe but the top was too deteriorated. GM loved those disk wheels.

Yes they did like those wheels, and I never cared for them.

Headlights look like sealed beams.

This hood ornament may be from a 29 Chevy.

The car is a 1929 Chevrolet Sport Coupe. The rumble seat and cowl lights ID it as the "Sport" model. The wire wheels are factory accessory 20" ones. The 20" steel disc split rim wheels were standard. While 20" split rim artillery wheels were also offered as a factory accessory. I've owned a couple of '29 chevies through the years.

No, I can't identify the motor car but it is easy to tell the driver is happy with himself.

The body line for the 1929 AC series changed a bit from the earlier models. The 1928 AB models had a different radiator cowl emblem but it has the similar body line to the 1927 AA series. This is a link to a photo of the 1927 AA coupe.

The body belt lines and the radiator cowl look pretty close to me. I'm not well versed on the early chevy cars so this is just an observation.

This link is to a 1929 AC series sales brochure.

Thank you cleared up that one. How about this one it's my grandmother in her second husbands Cadillac (I think). They had a lunch room in Saginaw MI. He ran a card game in the back.

I believe that the Mystery car posted by fourfords is a 1927 slightly modified Chevrolet Cabriolet, the headlights and front bumper are off something else.
