Quick question and thank you for your input. When bolting upper and lower two piece front fenders together should I use something between the two such as seam sealer or just bolt them and use something to fill any voids afterwards. What is the correct method? Appreciate your help.

Can we assume that you are working on a 1941 Ford?

A material similar to roofing felt (tar paper) will be a good replacement. Punch holes for the bolts before hand.
