Default 1939 ford deluxe window trim screws ,

Were the factory trim screws on the 1939 deluxe ( happens to be a coupe ) slot head or Phillips head ? Thank you in advance . And am looking for a nos or like new pair of outside door handles , inside as well , will consider singles , have heard repops no t very nice , is that true ? Also door latch assemblies new or like new or ? Thank youn

NO Phillips screws on your 39 anywhere.

The repo handles from Drake are pretty nice. However, if you are going to have the car point judged, they won't pass. The original handles were stainless clad steel. The repop handle are chrome plated cast.
To the casual observer, they would never know.
The repop inside handles are very nice.
