Default Correct Carb for my 1940 Ford

Greetings

I am trying to put my 1940 back to Original as possible. Getting close, but a few things left. The carb on the car now is a Ford Model 8BA which is missing the manual Throttle link on the carb. The rest of the linkage is there, but no place to hook it to the carb. Not sure if it has been broken off or I don,t have the correct carb. First question is Do I have the correct period carb All inputs appreciated

Thks
