I'm running some early Edelbrock heads, looks like sparkplug reach is about 1/2". regular H10's are too short. Anyone know a suitable plug for these heads? Thanks

NGK B-6L have a little over 7/16" reach and should work fine. Or if you want a little hotter plug, the NGK B-4L.

There are a LOT more 7/16 reach plugs than 1/2" reach plugs.
If it was mine, I'd be making custom spacers (out of copper) to position 3/4" reach plugs exactly where you want them. There are tons of 3/4" reach plug options - which is why all the newer Eddy heads (and other brands) have switched over to 3/4" plugs. |
