Hi from down under..
I finally , while renewing the carpet in the front and tidying up front floor panels had a look at the chassis / body number stamped on the transmission cover. I came up with *C18VF11* not sure but the C is for Canadian , car is from NZ , 18 the model ? it is a deluxe 4 door Sedan 1936 , think the F is right hand drive and not sure on V or the 11. I will look on the rails at the front but they are painted gloss black and nothing visible , before I remove the paint would a right hand drive chassis number still be on the left rail or the right rail ? While I have the transmission cover removed is there anything I should check , lubricate or renew before I close it up ? Thanks in advance for the knowledge and help out there. |
