Default Left the ignition on.

Trying to start my stock 36. Battery was low. Put the charger on overnight, but left the ignition ON! New battery installed, and cranks great. But no start. Do I pull the dist and check for burned points? Need help.

Probably burned out the coil, I did that once for about 20 minutes. Completely melted the coil.

Yep, your coil is toast. Made that mistake only once.
