Default Parts places.

Recently I was shopping for window felts for my 35 Tudor. I looked at all the usual places but no one had the right set. I finally gave in and went to Ebay. I found the set I needed for the front, but they didn't have a set for the back windows. I went on and ordered the front window set and just accepted the fact i would have to keep looking. 3 days later, I found the correct rear set at a place called, https://www.joesantiqueauto.com/. I ordered them, (much cheaper than anywhere else I had found, (they were all out of stock). The owner called me the next day and said he could not comply with my requested 3 day delivery because the parts had to be made, then shipped directly. I told him anytime within the next ten days would be fine. The Ebay set said 10 to 15 days for delivery, so I was not in any real rush. That was on a Wednesday. The following Monday, the rear set, from Joe's was on my doorstep. As of this writing, the only thing I know about the ebay set is: I received an email saying they were being delivered. I am guessing they will be here tomorrow or Tuesday. At least 10 days faster delivery and less expensive, from Joe's. If you haven't used them, give them a try. BTW: Both orders are actually comong from Vintiqe.

Joe has been my go to vendor for years for parts for my '39 p/u. One instance of just how great Joe is (of many) is once after placing an order I got a missed call from Joe on my caller ID. I called him back and he said the credit card he had on file for me was expired and he needed the new info. But he said not to worry because he already shipped the parts even though he had no valid payment info. I can't say enough good things about Joe and his staff. With his new online ordering you don't get to interact with them as much but they are still only a phone call away if needed. JMO

Joe or Mike (third Gen auto) are the best and they supply quality parts because they know what they're selling ;-)
