Default Anyone run into this?

Installing the flywheel today and found one bolt hole for the pressure plate is 3/8-16 not 5/16-18, evidently it was stripped and re-tapped larger. The issue now is a 9/16!socket won’t fit because the bolt head is too close to the flywheel & you cannot get any wrench on the head either. Anyone have any reason why I could use a button head socket cap screw in its place??? It will give a good baring surface, be easy to use an Allen socket to make sure it’s tight PLUS it’d be stronger material than the other 5 5/16 bolts in there now. The head will be low enough for any possible clearance issues.
