Does anyone have an engineering drawing of the long extension shaft that drives the distributor on a 1931 Model A distributor? It has the offset slots.

The original Model A distributor used two short shafts, not one long shaft. This was because there is a slight angle difference, which the coupling of the shafts accommodated.

He may be asking for the aftermarket variant which is a shaft that starts at the distributor cam, passes through the distributor into the block, and continues down to the gear drive as one piece. I had one of those found in a "barnyard" engine. I threw it away for the apparent "alignment" issue mentioned. Joe K
