Default Tilly F1B Carb

Hey All,

I removed my Zenith-1 from the car as she's been dripping so I put on my Tilly F1B carb that I won at the 59 annual pancake breakfast raffel while I deal with the Zenith. It's acting funny and wanted to know if I am correct in my diagnoses.

Problem, when first starting, the Idle acts like it has a blower surge problem ... LOL
Once warmed up, that goes away, but the idel speed doesn't fall back to the same spot every time.
Driving at low rpm, is fine but if I lay into the pedal, it starts stumbeling.
If I press the pedal slowly, it stumbles slightly then it will build up speed.

To me, it sounds like an undersized main jet, any thoughts?
Are there parts for it?
Does it share the same main jet, or any other parts with the Zenith carb's?

I havent taken this carb apart yet, but it was rebuilt when I got it and looks brand new. It has NO air or fuel leaks.

Regards
Bill

Did you check your point gap, rubbing block wear and distributor gaps on all four? lots of folks think bad running is the carb! Just had same situation on one of my A's rubbing block gone! Good luck!

All is good at the distributor and I just went through it earlier this month. All of my Zeniths will run the car fine, just the Tilly gives me the issue.
