Default choke rod and/or throttle rod connectors

choke rod and/or throttle rod connectors

how to disconnect this? I want to install dash grommets. Thank you -

A far more practical approach to slit one side of the grommet and slip it over the rod with the slit up when installed in the dash. Reattaching the rod parts is the other challenge to go along with that of taking them apart.

I believe some of the grommets come split which can be hard to see.
