Re: New scuffs?
I do buy from Fred. He has a lot of brake parts but does not list any shoes. I usually email him as he does have many things other than what is shown on his site. And you are correct, Fred is a great guy to deal with. He will go out of his way to help you in your time of need! He is a very busy guy but he did have a little time to show me around last winter. I felt like a kid in a candy shop.

Re: New scuffs?
If a person has their original shoes, the linings can be replaced without too much expenditure since the brake lining rivets and riveting tools are still relatively inexpensive. A person then needs to find the lining material in the size and composition they need to fit the shoe frames. The 1935 to 38 lining materials are available. This temporary link is for the woven types on flea-pay.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/26606076978...yABEgKwCfD_BwE A person should be cautious with older materials since they may be asbetos and use a respirator if any sanding is done on them. |

Re: New scuffs?
I went to your website but could not find linings or rivets. Ended up buying tool and rivets from one supplier and linings at E---. Would have preferred to have bought from you as the service is always excellent.
