Hi, can someone please advise the best way to install the door glass, I found a drawing on here so made up a 1/4” wood pattern. I can only seem to get in the front glass channel with no room for the rear one.
Was there different lengths of glass? Thanks in advance for any help. |

Different lengths or widths, either way the answer is no, the door glass had the same dimensions throughout the model year. You have to lower the glass and lower steel horizontal channel assembly below the two vertical side channels and install it into the side channels from the bottom up. Then install the window regulator assembly into the door with the two arms of the regulator straight up to insert into the track attached to the bottom of the horizontal window channel. It is a two-person job.
