I need the paint formula and source of "Seal Brown" color for a Model "A" Ford Cabriolet. Marten Senour and PPG can't help me. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

I am restoring a 1930 Cabriolet and painting it Bronson Yellow and Seal Brown. Marten Senour, Eastwood and PPG can't help me with the Seal Brown. The yellow can be matched with their color swatches. I have the MAFCA color charts but no one has a Spectrphotometer that works on ink colors.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you!

I have a paint chart of close matches that was published in the Model A News years ago by the late Roger Kaufman. Shows Seal Brown as:
DuPont: TS239
PPG: 1016

Bronson Yellow:
DuPont: C8067
PPG: 545

Dupont is now Axalta since the paint product line was sold off. PPG is a big maybe since it depends on whether they can match an old code (type of paint) to a new type of paint. I'm going to try the TCP global line for seal brown but it will be a while before I need it. I've been using their acrylic urethane and it works well enough for me. My old paint store was bought out several years ago and the new owners are always out of something to make the 2K stuff work so I quit going over there unless they have it in stock. PPG is hard to get a good mix on in SATX if you can find it.

I'll repeat what others have said here many times - the best way to get a "correct" color is to get a Paint and Finish Guide 4th edition and take the paint swatches to your store for scanning and paint matching. Color codes may or may not be correct, there has been a tremendous evolution of paint chemistry in the last 50 years.
