I am in the process of cleaning and lining the wipe system in my 57 Ford wagon. I got everything out and noticed this. Will it hold up to regular use or does it need to be replaced?

Update: I got it lubed and I saw the whole shaft moving in the housing so I am not opptimistic about it holding up. I think in the long run it will wear the housing out and start wobbling around and have to be replaced. Now the hunt begins....
