Default hinge sleave

Have 1935 pickup. Has worn hinges looking for sleaves to use original size pins. I know they have oversize, but want to use hinge pickup mirrors. If i use oversize will have to drill mirrors,Drake said not good idea to drill those cast mirrors will crack. Looked on line but no luck.

McMaster Carr has the steel sleeve in 12” pieces.
They also have reamers.
I will look for my invoice and add p/n if I find it.
Not all after market “stock sized” hinge pins are the same diameter.......

I went to the hobby shop and bought brass tubing to fit the pin then drilled the hinge to the outside diameter of the brass tube. That was 30 years ago, still works great.

Ford also notched the body hinge for oil and groved the pins for lubrication all later. Newc
