Armature’s
I have a couple of bad 1940 generator armatures .Do you toss them out or is there someone who can rewind them ?

If you have a scrap yard, you may get some beer money for the dirty copper. Those suckers are kind of heavy

I have been surprised for years how many Ford generators are dumped at swap meets. Seems that three brush generators lead the pack. There must be some reason that post war generators are notably less common. Alternator conversion trend? This is obviously not scientific sampling. Just a hoarder's view. Fred A
