Default 51 Truck to 38 Deluxe Gauge Swap?

Considering swapping in 51 Truck gauges/speedo to accommodate my 8BA oil pressure and seemingly impossible to find 38 water temp gauge.
Looks like it will fit…anyone tried this??

Cheaper option, and coincidentally, the right way to go is to get a 50 lb oil sender, and an NOS temp gauge unit.

I don't know if it would work or not but if it does the 51/52 Ford truck speedo and instruments were used all the way up into some of the mid 70's UPS trucks.

If they physically fit the car, they should work. Speedometers use pretty standard drive cables, and King-Seely 6 volt gauges are, well, King-Seely 6 volt gauges.

When I was doing a 52 and a 12 volt conversion for a friend. I ordered the gauges from the P series truck (UPS) from mid 70's. The gauge faces had a slightly different font but seemed to work well with the 70's sending units and a 57 or newer IVR. I assumed they were still 6-volt gauges and used the IVR with the 12-volt conversion.
