Default Seeking estimate on item

I have started building these desk lamps out of model a parts. What would be a fair price for both seller and buyer, to ask for these?

Tough question. I like it from what I see however I do not have a special place to display it at the moment. On the other hand, a Lady that falls in love with it and is decorating a room in a specific theme that can use this will likely pay thru the roof for it. It is all in how you market it. Can you sell one for $100.00 and feel good about making it??

Can you use an old headlight bucket and lens?

I hope you're using the current crop of 30-0-30 ammeters and leaving the originals for those who need them.

My Son made a couple of lamps from old transmission gears and headlight reflectors. He was asking $100 for them and nobody was willing to pay that. I think he finally sold his last one for about $20-$25. I was a hard slow slog and he said he would not do it again.

I was thinking the same. This type of thing will only interest a select few, usually the one who made the item.

Most on Forsd Barn have a plethora of old parts we could make our own lamps from when we get bored.

I've seen something like that before, don't recall what the asking price was.
