Wheel Bearing Seal Removal
I ran across this video on YouTube. Would it be likely that this “trick” would work on front and/or real Model A wheel bearing seals? If so, are there any downsides to this type of removal?

Re: Wheel Bearing Seal Removal
Wouldn't work on the rear. It's kind of like the apples and oranges thing. As for the front bearings, the outer comes off with the drum and you just slide the inner right off.

Good point. I haven’t had the drums off for a bit. I forgot about how the fronts come off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Wheel Bearing Seal Removal
Any down side ?
Thats the way they're normally removed for replacement on a 'modern' vehicle. But, that doesn't work on a Model A. |

Re: Wheel Bearing Seal Removal
A cut off threaded end of an old axle makes a good tool for removing the grease seal in a rear brake drum.
