Default Running Hot

Hi guys me again… So I been having trouble getting the car to idle. I go through the starting process car fires right up. In Les Andrews book it says to adjust the idle speed while timing lever is all the way up. As I try to adjust the carb it doesn’t take long I have to shut it down because it runs close to 200 degrees and steam begins to come out of the radiator and last time coolant out of the bottom.
Is this because I’m running it on full advance too long? Almost got it to idle but had to shut it down too Hot! The radiator was flushed at the shop so it should be good to go. Timing also checks out good. Scratching my head I’m getting flustered. Any ideas?
