Default early ford parts of california

Has anyone heard anything from early ford parts in San Dimos, cal. I ordered some parts from them, they acknowledged the order and that was the last I heard. I've emailed them 3 times with no response, this is not like them, I never had this problem with them before. Maybe the wildfire in that area has had an effect on them, I hope not.

Assuming you are referring to the Early Ford Store in San Dimas? If so, fires aren't the issue. They are just way over whelmed and understaffed as I understand it. As frustrating as it seems you will get your stuff, but it's not like ordering from Amazon, it just takes time. JMO

They acknowledged your order so its being processed. Its a 2 person operation so be patient. You will get notification when it is shipped. There are instances where he is out of stock and waiting from the supplier from them.It happened to me.

I ordered a fuel pump and I had it the next week. I haven’t had an issue with parts I have ordered for the last month.

Ordered several parts for my 32 roadster project and they took about a week to ship and when they did I was notified with a tracking number. 2-3 man operation and if you've been there you wonder how they find anything. If your ever in the area it's a must see.

I've given up on them. I used to like to buy used stuff from them but for the last year or two, I cannot even get them to respond. They don't answer the phone and they don't answer emails so I cannot even ask if they have a particular item. Frustrating...

They're about 10 miles away but I haven't been in there in a few months.
I guessing that Michael has his hands full since Bill's passing.
I think there's a girl there sometimes too (sister?), so at best it's like three people
"behind the counter."

Like F1, it is a short drive for me to get parts. The phone seems to be ringing constantly. They are busy packing orders. He had the gaskets I needed recently.
If you have visited, there are literally used and new parts wall to wall, organized. Also there are a few pre war Fords parked inside and out.

Well, they'll never sell those used parts if we don't know they exist.

They honestly were likely out of stock of the product and awaitng a manufacturer stock order to fulfill it. While we dont operate this way, I can EASILY understand the reasoning. It is getting harder and harder for the small vendors to get parts and the lead time is double what it was 2 years ago. Some websites track inventory on hand, but for vendors who have a website or system that does not I can understand the reasonng
