Does anyone have information on how to tighten this item up?? The handle will move about 1/2 inch before it starts to engage the unlocking mechanism and after driving for a bit it will sit at an angle rather than straight.???

Perhaps the large lock ring securing the trunk handle set up has worked loose.
Access the inside and check that this is tight.
