Hi Guys,
A while back I posted pics of a 36 pickup that I was purchasing. I ended up backing out of that deal and buying a different one. The one that I ended up getting has juice brakes and is in a little better shape although sadly it doesn't have a original box. I have had it home for 3 days and I sort of got it fired up today. Runs for a few seconds as long as I am feeding it gas manually. That was pretty exciting. It has a later engine (24 stud) so I guess the engine is '38 or after. I am still trying to identify what year and displacement the flathead is, but it isn't critical that I figure it out immediately. I will be scouring the info on this site and am alerting you that many stupid questions will be asked. I am having trouble uploading pictures because of some kind of security token???. And btw...that other pickup that I was going to buy is still for sale and I would like to help the fella find a home for it because I feel bad for backing out of the deal. So if anyone knows anyone looking for a good complete project pickup, let me know and I will send you the guys number.
