I have found a 1932 ford roadster body near me and since i have never thought about a roadster hot rod before i was wondering if there may be a go to replacement frame that works out well and still may be around in junk yards.
thanks |

If you use anything other than a 32 frame it will be a waste of a 32 roadster body.
Frames are available repro. Did you not know that? Are you sure you want to build a 32 roadster? |

If you have found a REAL '32 roadster body, this is not the car that deserves a JUNK YARD REPLACEMENT frame. Offhand, I know of no reasonable 'replacement' frame that is fit to use under a '32. There are several companies that manufacture REPRODUCTION-type chassis for '32 Fords, and although this is YOUR car, and you can certainly do with it as you please, a '32 roadster deserves not to be "bastardized" with anything other than a REAL '32 frame (they DO come-up for sale), or at least an acceptable reproduction chassis....only MY opinion, but WTF do I know? Is it a glass body or the real deal?

If you are patient, running '32 chassis come up with sale. My buddy just picked one up from down south. It was awesome to see him riding around his property with just a temporary seat.
Please, do not plan to use anything but a repo or original '32 frame. |

Maybe he was going to channel it anyway. Ugh.
Both the top and bottom lips were rusted off the original frame of my avatar, but I found a very nice original to replace it back in the 1980s. |
