Is it possible to unsolder the bullet ends on the wires on the sockets? Are they crimped or soldered? Is it a huge job? I Just purchased an original set and dont want to mess them up. Thanks RAY

Yes you can heat the ends and pull the wires out. I use one of those multi arm/ mirror stand things but removed one of the arms and clamped it in a vise. Using a solder iron to heat the soldered end while pulling down on the wire. As all instruction manuals advise, follow instructions in reverse to install new wires.

Using a good solder sucker will help.
Like this, for example: https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/d...iABEgL5UPD_BwE

IF the wires are good why un solder them? The wires will go through the conduit! I’ve done this with the 3 wire headlights, looks like you have cowl lights 2 wires much easier. First terminal second terminal behind the first then the last terminal push a little wiggle a little and some patients! The terminals will not go through as a bundle side by side, one behind the other and done!

there is two different types of original head light pig tails. one is soldered and the other is crimped. if you were lucky enough to come up with some NOS ones be careful not to get the springs to hot.
