Hello! In this week's video I continue with the Spalding French Flathead build. I cover modifying a French/8BA style cam to run a front mount 59A type distributor, the mods required to make a Ford type piston to run in a 4" stroke French motor and some of the mods required on the block.
Thanks for watching. Please click like, leave a comment and throw a sub my way. Lots more to come, so tune in next week for more French Flathead build progress! Mart. https://youtu.be/-Baja4YbMIc |

Thanks agin Mart. Is the reason for the cam/distributor mod for performance or personal preference? Les.

Hello Les. Thanks for commenting. It's personal preference and to keep a commonality between my Old Fords. they all run the crab setup. I don't have a working distributor for the French or 8BA style setup. I rate the crab distributor highly and have a good timing fixture to set them up.
