My 39 pickup has the original key BUT it is stuck in the drop down ignition switch. It will neither turn or come out. Any tips or solutions welcomed.

To no avail I'm afraid. The on/off switch is installed but not connected to the bakelite switch. Don't think that would or should make a difference?

Maybe try a little heat? Start with a hair dryer then maybe go to a propane torch, but easy does it so as not to damage anything. Does it move at all, even a little wiggle? Can you post a pic?
