I'm in the process of piecing together my long term 32 roadster project. Like many original roadster bodies it was completely disassembled for rear floor and subframe work. I'm looking for an outside to outside measurement between the top iron brackets on top of the quarter panels. Any help is appreciated

Just measured my original Henry Ford body this is what I get 50-5/16. I will tell you my body lines and door gaps are spot on.

When we were assembling Brookville 32 bodies when they became available we made a simple fixture out of 3/4inch tubing with a piece of ready rod going thru it. Just put it between the top iron tabs to keep the measurement right without fighting it.

Your welcome. The way Kylon32 used the tubing and steady rod is an excellent way to set a dimension.
