In my 2 door, 4seat car, is there a rubber piece[s] that would be mounted on the seat bottom , and would catch the front seat backrest as it goes into the upright [driving] position? there are two triangular plates near the doors and another metal piece in the middle
that supports both seats when they are upright. seems like they should not be metal on metal.

They would also affect the angle of the back rest in th driving position.

Thanks. kind of a confusing question.
