Dick can key your door lock to match your ignition key as well. He’s a great guy and is very personable.

Dick just finished straighten out the locks on my 30 Coupe I recently bought.

He has done work for me for years and taken care of key and lock problems for several of my cars. While Dick has your Ignition switch, I would definitely have him rebuild it.

You will be very happy with the quality of his work and he is very reasonable with what he charges.

My thoughts,

Chris W.

My car had a Briggs-Stratton ignition switch in it when I bought it in 1967 - this must have been an after-market replacement ??

If I recall correctly, Dick told me that at least some (maybe all?) of the original keys were Briggs & Stratton keys.

A lot of folks modified these cars in the era before reproduction parts became available. There was a time when finding a good original Electrolock switch was more difficult. A person had to look through the Hemmings Motor News and Model A club magazines to find stuff like this. A lot of communications were by snail mail. Where I came from, there were no local swap meets to go to.
