41 coupe shock replacement advice

Hi guys I am replacing my 41 rear shocks with beautifully rebuilt stock ones. What tips or advice can you give me with this replacement? It’s just pulling out the rear lever shocks and putting in new lever shocks. Am I in for a hard time ? Thanks for any advice.

That's about all there is to it. If you want to reuse the links, do NOT use a pickle fork to remove them. Instead, buy or rent a tie rod end removal press. Fits in the palm of your hand and won't damage the link.

With the shock link removed, can you tell the health of the shock by moving the arm by hand? How much resistance should there be to moving it by hand?
