The driver's side door doesn't latch. There is one screw missing on the outside. How do I take the latch assembly out to check the handle threads?

There are screws on the inside of the door under the upholstery panel.

Question, do you use lock tight on the screws holding the screws in on the lock and hinges.

Ford did not use a threadlocking compound (-Loctite) originally. No real need to do the same as long as the threads are good and the correct screws are used.
