Default Column shift rods 1940 to 1948

Are the rods from the column to the transmission the same from 1940 to 1948?
I'm guessing they are, I got a bunch of them but none were marked when removed from junk cars and I got a guy who needs a set for a 48.

They all appear to be the same length (short and long) and I parted out alot of 40 to 48 fords and mercury cars but I didnt bother to lable any of them

If the 48 chassis book (or maybe the green bible) shows the rods as having an 01A part number they are the same, or are a service replacement if the green bible shows them fitting 40-48. I suspect they are the same.

That is what I was thinking. I gave them to him so I will find out if they fit.

Last floor shift was 39 in passenger cars, 40 first column shift. Pickups were different.
